Manufacturing defect and fraudulent warranty. I lost the full purchase amount.Seller – Vedanta Electricals Pvt. Ltd. ( New Delhi ).I tried to assemble the fan on 12th day after delivery and thus lost Amazon’s 10 day return period. However, this product comes with 2 years warranty.I found that the holes in one of the blades are not aligned with the screw locations on the fan body. So, could not put together the fan.Vedanta Electricals advised me that there is no repair service available in Navi Mumbai and I can get this repaired by local mechanics and send them all bills etc. Upon satisfactory review, they would refund me max Rs. 300.I told them that this is a manufacturing defect and cannot be repaired. Now they are asking me to dispatch the fan on my own cost to their company address and they will check and repair/replace this one.How much would I have to pay for dispatching it to Delhi from Navi Mumbai? Isn’t it better to purchase a new fan altogether ?Whoever plans to purchase this product from this seller, please be aware of this state of service and warranty.
